This is a review on two books about anti-Americanism in Commentary Magazine. It seems that both books are valuable on a historical and phenomenological level but none of both seems to go below the surface questioning why a special social situation is being translated into the ideological framework of anti-Americanism.

Well, this is my blog and I am not sure if I should be happy about it.
